Bring up the card you wish to update.
You can type the card number into the search field at the top of the screen
Click on the box card number or view card, to bring up the box card preview
From there, click on Update Box Card.
You may update the following information in this way:
Location or Area
Authorized by
Triggered Contacts
Card Notes
Simply click in the area you wish to make changes to, make your updates and click Submit. When your changes are complete, click Update and Preview at the top right of the Update Box Card screen. Your changes take effect immediately.
To make changes to other areas of your box card, Interdivisional Requests and resources on the alarm levels, Click Create New Version.
This updates your card into a Draft Card, in which you can add new resources, remove resources, and modify your interdivisional requests.
After your changes are made, click Save and Preview, and then Route your card for approval. Only the agencies that are newly added to the card will receive the approval notification. The other resources have already been approved and will not need to go through the approvals process again.
As soon as the new resources complete the approvals process, the draft card becomes an active, Available card and the previous version is moved to the Historical tab.
Fully approved box cards become available cards at 0730 the morning after the approvals are complete.
