Starting a Card / Drill

Option 1: From the home screen, type in the box card in the search field at the top.

Option 2: Click on available box cards.

You can select the division, agency, or box card number. If you type in a number, such as 12, it will list all cards with a 12 in the title.

To select a card, you can click on the box card number in the second column, or View Card in the last column.

Option 3: Click the blue Start Card button.

From this screen, you can search for a card by number or by Agency. The Card Location option is not yet available.

Once you are viewing the desired card, select Start a Drill near the top right, or Launch Card. A drill will not trigger any notifications.

Launching a drill or incident – The system will allow the dispatcher to fill in information like Address and geo locate it to a Google map. Enter CAD ID# for the incident. Set a Staging location or Working frequency / talk group channel for the IC. These are not required before launching the card. Selecting the Alarm Level only will launch the card. Entering the information will send the data with the card text messages and emails to FD agencies when launched.
