To add a resource to the tracker, click Add Resource.
To add a specific requested resource, choose from the drop downs in each field. For EMS and Special Equipment, the Resource Subtype option opens up. It is not required to choose a subtype in order to add one of these resources.
When all needed fields are filled in, click Add Resource at the bottom.. A new script will be generated, and the resource will be added to the tracker.
To automatically add a needed resource, if Incident Command does not have a preference, click Add Auto Resource.
A new box will display. Fill in the quantity of resources needed, then click Find and Add. Based on geographical locations, resources will be selected, a new script will be generated and the new resource will be added to the tracker.
You can add Interdivisional Resources by clicking on Add Interdivisional Resource.
A new box will display.
Choose the division you are requesting resources from. Then choose the resource type from the drop down. The resource will be added to the tracker below the 5th alarm level.
You can edit the name of the interdivisional resource by clicking on the drop down arrow and choosing Rename.
